Adding it to PowerPoint
Until it is in the Office store you add it yourself, once per device. PowerPoint has no single “upload” button in most versions, so the exact steps differ by platform:
- Mac — drop the downloaded file into PowerPoint’s
weffolder and reopen the app. - Windows — share a folder holding the file and register it as a trusted add-in catalog.
- On the web — use Upload My Add-in if your account offers it (not all do).

What the room sees, and what it doesn't
The add-in shows only anonymous aggregate totals — the count behind each bar, an average, a distribution, an NPS score. It reads those through the same live feed that powers the on-screen results dashboard, so a slide is never a route to data the results page would not already show.
Individual responses are never fetched, never displayed, and never
written into your .pptx. The only thing stored in the
presentation is which survey and question the slide points at. A survey
stays private until you switch Public projector on for
it — a deliberate, per-survey choice — which is what lets the add-in read
the results on a projector or an AV machine that no one has signed into.
Your audience answers by scanning a QR code or opening a short link. No app, no account, and — because it is a NumoForms survey underneath — the content and responses are stored in London.
Questions
Is it in the Microsoft store yet?
Not yet — the AppSource listing is in progress. In the meantime you add it yourself in about a minute: download the add-in from this page and upload it in PowerPoint (the steps are below). Once it is installed it stays in PowerPoint like any other add-in.
Does it cost anything?
No. The add-in is free. You need a NumoForms account to build the survey that feeds it, but the PowerPoint side costs nothing.
What appears on the slide?
Only anonymous aggregate results — the counts for each option, an average, a distribution, an NPS number. Individual responses are never shown, and nothing identifying is ever fetched or stored in your presentation.
How does the audience answer?
They scan a QR code or open a short link on their phone. There is no app to install, and they do not sign in.
Does it work on Mac and PowerPoint for the web?
Yes — PowerPoint on Windows, on Mac, and in the browser. The web version is the easiest to add, because uploading an add-in there needs no folder or trust settings.
