What we will not do
We will not stop your survey mid-consultation because you hit a cap. We will not charge per seat. We will not put accessibility, UK data residency or export behind a paywall — you should be able to take your data and leave at any point, on any plan, and a product that makes that hard is telling you something about itself.
What is metered is volume, not capability. The free plan builds exactly the same surveys as the paid ones, with the same sixteen question types, the same logic and the same scoring. It simply collects fewer responses.
Questions about pricing
Why an annual allowance instead of a monthly cap?
Because consultations arrive in bursts. A council might take 3,000 responses in a fortnight and then nothing for four months. A monthly cap makes them pay for eleven months they do not use, which is how everyone else in this category charges.
What happens if we go over the allowance?
Nothing stops. We will not block a submission for billing reasons — halting a consultation before its published closing date would be your problem and our fault. We notify you and invoice the overage, or move you up a plan.
Do you charge per user?
No. Every paid plan has unlimited people on the account. Charging per seat makes little sense for an organisation where a dozen people each touch a survey twice a year.
Is accessibility a paid feature?
No, and it will not become one. The respondent experience is built to WCAG 2.2 AA on every plan including Free. Putting accessibility behind a paywall in a product sold to public bodies would be indefensible.
Is our data in the UK on the free plan too?
Yes. Survey content and responses are stored in London on every plan. It is not a premium feature, it is how the product is built.
Which features are not built yet?
Approval workflows and webhooks are built and live on the Team plan — sign-off is single-step, and webhooks are HMAC-SHA256 signed with a delivery log. Still unfinished: taking payments inside a form, multi-step approval chains, and SAML single sign-on. The signature question is a simple electronic signature, typed or drawn with an audit trail, not a qualified one, and we do not offer QES. Ask before you buy on the strength of one of them.
